TERMS & CONDITIONS

Responsibilities of Parties:

1. Our responsibilities: Legendary Motorcycle Adventures Ltd. (‘LMA Ltd.’) accept responsibility for supplying a motorcycle tour which matches as near as physically possible the tour package described in our publicity materials, where these form the basis for a booking. We are not
responsible for deficiencies or deviations from the proposed tour which may result from weather,
local deficiencies in service provision or industrial disputes.

2. Your responsibilities: When purchasing a tour from LMA Ltd, it is your responsibility to read and understand the Terms and Conditions as set out below.

Making a Booking with LMA Ltd.

Once you have contacted us, we will explain our Tour itinerary. When you are satisfied that the
Tour suits your requirements, we will send you a Booking Form and Deposit Invoice.

Deposits

3. A deposit of £300.00 will be required to reserve a place on a tour; the Deposit may be paid
by Bank Transfer or by UK Cheque.

Balance of Tour Fees

4. The balance of the Tour fee will be due no later than 45 days prior to the Tour departure
date. Where a Booking is made within 45 days of departure, then the full fee will be due on
Booking.

Payment by Instalments

5. LMA Ltd. will accept payment in instalments where this can help you to budget. Please
contact us to negotiate a mutually satisfactory schedule. Note that the final payment must
be made at least 45 days prior to departure date for your Tour.

6. LMA Ltd. offer a limited number of Bursary places to enable access to our Tours. Please
contact us for details.

7. Failure to pay the Tour fees in accordance with the above terms may result in your booking
being cancelled. We will give you sufficient notice for an alternative fee schedule to be
agreed where possible.

Cancellation

If we cancel a Tour: LMA Ltd. reserve the right to cancel a tour. This would only happen in exceptional circumstances. In this event, we would endeavour to offer you a suitable
alternative; where this is neither possible nor acceptable, we will issue you a full refund.
Where the cancellation is due to events beyond our control, see clause 9.

Force Majeure: LMA Ltd. will not be held responsible to offer a refund or compensation where cancellations are due to war, the threat of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorism, natural disasters, fire, ‘Acts of God’ or any unforeseen cancellations arising from industrial disputes or extreme weather conditions.

If you cancel a booking: any cancellation must be notified in writing, either by email or registered post to our company address. Cancellations are subject to the following charges:
i. a Cancellation more than 45 days prior to Tour departure date: loss of deposit
ii. a Cancellation within 45-29 days of departure: 50% of Tour fee
iii. a Cancellation within 28-14 days of departure: 75% of Tour fee
iv. a Cancellation within 14 days of departure: 100% of Tour fee

We strongly recommend that you take out Holiday Cancellation Insurance to offset the above
risk.

Transfer of Booking: in the event that you have to cancel, you may elect to transfer your booking to another person. You will be liable for any administration costs, and for your
nominee paying their fees in full.

Surcharges: Where circumstances beyond our control (such as currency fluctuations,
increases in fuel, Port or Border taxes) cause an increase in the cost of your tour, LMA Ltd.
will absorb within the original price such increase up to 2% on the published price. Increases
above 2% of the original price may be added to the final invoice. Where such an increase will
add more than 8% to your price, then you will be entitled to cancel and receive a full refund.

Financial Protection: All eligible payments are held in trust in accordance with the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992.

Single Room Supplements: as an inclusive Tour Operator, LMA Ltd. will not apply a single room supplement to those travelling alone. We expect that you will agree to share hotel
facilities with a fellow traveller; where single accommodation is a prerequisite of your joining
a Tour, you will inform us in writing, and a surcharge will be proposed according to the Tour
Itinerary.

Insurance: you are responsible for Personal Travel Insurance, to cover accident, medical cover (including repatriation) and third party liability.

Other documents:
i. you will need to bring a current passport, the validity of which extends to at least 6
months following the last day of your tour. Where visas are required, these are your
responsibility.
ii. European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). This can ensure reduced medical costs for
citizens of the EU when travelling in EU countries. The card can be obtained free of
charge from www.dh.govuk/travellers, or by ‘phoning 0845 606 2030. The EHIC
replaces the E111 certificate, which is no longer valid.
iii. Vaccination certificates, where applicable. We will inform you of those you will require
for each Tour.
iv. You must inform us, in writing, of any illness, infirmity, allergies or dietary needs which
may affect your holiday, prior to departure.
v. You must bring a valid motorcycle licence to cover the machines which you will be riding.

Itineraries: LMA Ltd. will make best endeavours to keep to any published itineraries, but reserve the right to make alterations where necessitated by causes beyond our control (such as adverse weather or security conditions, road closures or emergencies). Our Tour
arrangements are made months in advance of departure, so some minor alterations are to
be expected. However, where major changes to itinerary are required, such as a revised
departure date, accommodations, departure or destination point, then we may offer you an
alternative Tour of similar value. Alternatively, bookings may be cancelled and a full refund
claimed.

Complaints Procedure: In the first instance, you should notify your Tour Guide of any complaints. Should you feel that your complaint has not been properly addressed, you
should put your complaint in writing to: edwardtalbotadams@gmail.com

Delays: LMA Ltd. cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen delays in your flights or ferry crossings which may inhibit your ability to join a Tour, or cause consequential delays to the proposed itinerary. In the event of a delay, you will be responsible for providing your own meals and accommodation, or for making alternative travel arrangements.

Travel to the Departure Point: each Tour will have a clear departure and destination point. Travel to and from these points is your responsibility, as are the costs incurred.
